Re: Nice to meet you!

No, this will be my first time. I feel reasonably confident about listening & reading sections. I am solving test papers for the last two weeks now, and I am able to answer about 34 questions correctly in each of these sections. However I am concerned about writing, especially task 2. I kind of...

You should write in support of your position only. This could be sharing information that proves your stance valid, or it could also be sharing information that proves the opposing stance is invalid.

Re: What if the word count of the essay is about 15 words le

I think you mean "what should I do if my essay is 15 words too short", right? Firstly, if you've trained enough, this won't happen. In the event that it does, I suppose your only option is to extend the conclusion paragraph. You could expand upon your prediction or recommendation and beef ...

Re: Please have a look of the essay and give feedback of it

Hi Kitpanc, I believe I have a sample essay for this question up at ieltsielts.com. (You may need to do a Google search to find it.) I think the overall direction of your essay is good. The structure is present. The language you use to show you are going from the advantages to the disadvantages work...

Hi Anilnag,

Thanks very much for sharing the questions you faced. That Task 2 question has been seen before. The wording was a little different, but the idea was the same.

Re: Please evaluate my essay

I think your approach works fine. Personally, I probably would have stated my position on the topic clearly at the beginning and then proceeded to look at the advantages and disadvantages. The main concern is ensuring your examiner sees a direct relationship between your essay question and your essa...
