It's nice to meet you. An important first step is to assess where your skills are now. This will help you pinpoint the areas of your language that require focus. Try taking a few sample listening and reading exams and see where you place. Read model essays and listen to IELTS speaking demonstrations to familiarise yourself with the different bands. Study the public versions of the speaking and writing band descriptor charts to deepen your understanding of exactly what you are expected to demonstrate:
