following topic.
Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer
nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the
responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their
citizens themselves?
You should write at least 250 words.
Use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples
and with relevant evidence.
It is clear that nowadays nation classified by wealthy nation, developed nation and poor nation. There have been a debate whether wealthy nation must help poorer nation or the government of poorer nation is responsible to their citizens` living. I believe they should help each other to make a better world to live. Therefore, there are several reasons considered.
First, rich country will get benefit when they help poor country. For instance, United States as rich country help students in Indonesia by providing them with scholarships to continue their education. In the same fashion, Indonesia also agreed with an coorperation offered by USA about gold mining in Papua.
Secondly, When there is a terrible natural disaster occured in a country,it will be impossible to hand the resposibilities only to their own government, because of the lack of goods or the broken of transportation. Therefore, other country will help them immediately with supplying food and medication. For example, there was tsunami occured in Aceh in 2004. This disaster damaged the infrastucture, public services and the citizens itself, turned Aceh to be a dead city in that time. As the result, many countries offered food, medication and also health services instantly in order to help the government Aceh to rebuild their own city.
To conclude,I believe that the living of the poor citizens is the responsibility of their own government. Poorer nation government should look after their own inhabitants and try to provide them with what they need to live. In order to get better economic stabilization of poor country, rich country must give them a hand, especially when disaster occured. The wealthy country will also get advantages from this coorporation so it will be a mutual connection to both countries.
