India IELTS speaking test date.

Hi,

I booked my IELTS general test slot on 29-Jan-2015 at Chandigarh. I have some queries regarding IELTS test. I heard Speaking test generally occurs on different date than the normal exam date. If yes, when will British Council communicate to us about the Speaking test venue and date details. For example in my case, will speaking test conducted before or after 29-Jan-2014?

It may be a couple of days before, or perhaps sometimes the same day - also apparently some centers may only give this info with 5 days notice etc. - best to contact your test center directly to find out their procedure.
