When we are allowed to include personal pronouns in conclusion?

Hi Akshay,
As far as I remember, we shouldn't use personal pronouns while writing Academic essays. Only when the essay question mentions "Which do you prefer?" or "What is your opinion?" Only then we should use personal pronouns, otherwise our whole essay should be written in third person. This is what I have understood, correct me if I'm wrong
