Eating habits
Tell me about the types of food that people eat in your country.
How are the eating habits now in your country different from eating habits in the past?
How healthy is your country’s food?
Why do you think different cultures have different table manners?
How may eating habits change in coming decades?
PS:
I was laughing the end because I have nothing more to say. (I didn't even finished the required 5 minutes). Please rate and tell me things that I need to improve. I know there's a lot especially my stuttering and uhm uhm uhm...

Re: Please listen and rate
Hi, GivenCap,
Thank you for sharing eating habits in your country. I wonder if you’re from the Philippines.
First, your vocabulary was really good. Here were some of the words I heard: colonized, diverse, complex, rise of Internet usage, inclined to, inevitable, staple food.
Your pronunciation is easy to understand for the most part. I would encourage you to put your tongue between your teeth when you say the “th” sound, as it sounds like you’re saying “d” instead right now. Also, on the word “inevitable,” emphasize the “EV” syllable more. Finally, the “ea” sound in the word “eat” sounded like “it” instead of “ee.” Here is a video that might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuK3A3pBQlc
Regarding organization, I heard some transitions, which helped me to follow your speech better. As you are fluent in English as it is, you might consider bumping up the sophistication of your transitions to include: concerning, consequently, as a result, etc. This could also help you improve your vocabulary score.
Here are some other notes, especially on the usage of prepositions:
-before the colonization – no the
having a trade with the Chinese – no a
like taking more on meat than vegetables – like eating meat more than vegetable
we are more inclined into – TO
taking vegetables most of the time – EATING vegetables
unhealthy to the person’s health or the body –unhealthy FOR a person’s body
informed of the different cultures – informed ABOUT different cultures
more open on trying new things – more open TO trying new things
coming into realizations of different cultures around the world – come TO THE realization THAT there are different cultures around the world
Best wishes as you continue to practice!

How did you do?
Re: Please listen and rate
I never expected my speaking score to be 7.5. I was expecting less than 7. Anyway maybe I just got lucky...
