Q- Nowadays for many people, the internet is replacing regular books. What do you think will happen in the future and what is your opinion about this trend?

A- With the development of technology in a blistering rate, usage of an e-book through a mobile phone has become a new trend. However, the idea that the internet is soon going to replace regular books as it is more convenient is considered preposterous. The sales of regular books and the advantages of having them will be analyzed for viability.

Firstly, although the convenience of using an e-book has attracted numbers of adult, the total sales of the regular books has remained which was different from our expectation. For example, according to the sales record in the Amazon, the online merchant, number of books sold in 2014 has increased by two percents from the previous year. This is caused by the importance of reading books has been emphasizing in the modern world. This example clearly shows that the sales of regular books is not going to deteriorate in the near future.

In addition to this, many reasons why people are still reading regular books are noticed by book-lovers. For example, first of all, books can be read in the bathroom while electronic devices have the danger of electric shock. Also, you do not have to worry about your battery. Books does not require a battery. In addition, you can read in the sun. Electronic devices' screen goes dark under the sun. As stated above, many reasons are supported by book-lovers to prove why regular books are more favourable.

To recapitulate, readers prefer a regular book over an e-book due to numerous reasons. The data presented above also proves that the sales of regular books has been increasing. Hence, it is predicted that the internet will not replace traditional regular books in the foreseeable future.
