This table shows predicted figures of UK's population as well as the number of people who are aged 75+ and their proportion to total population for a time-frame from the year 2015 to 2070. It is clear from the table, that the population in UK will be growing in numbers during this time-frame, as will the number of people who are 75 years old and higher.

It is predicted, that by 2015 total population of the UK will be close to 65 million people, of which almost five and a half will be people aged 75+ years. The percentage of people of 75 years old and higher will be rising as well, from a little more than eight percent to slightly more than twelve percent in 2030, which in turn means, that there will be more 75+ aged people for every habitat of the UK.

For the next 15 years up until 2050 total population of the UK will still be seeing growth in numbers, as will the number of people aged 75+, but their proportion to total population will decrease by roughly one and a half percent. Starting from 2050 to 2070 the number of people dwelling in the UK will substantially grow from 77 million to 82 million people.
