Hi guys can you give me some advice, if I'm on the right track and what I have done right/wrong.

People study through distance learning programs such as studying by TV or Internet. However, courses can never be taken as good as those taken by attending in a college or university in person. To what extend do you agree or disagree.
There are many learning programs available to us through different mediums such as television or online. However courses can never be as good as those taken by attending a college or university. The delivery of these courses are different for each medium they have varying factors which include delivery method, course structure, teaching techniques, quality of teaching and student/teacher interactions.
I believe that mediums such as TV and the Internet to be considered secondary learning resources to help facilitate learning and further enhance people’s knowledge. Learning through distance learning programs allows us to conveniently learn things wherever we are by having access to the television or internet. However as these technologies are catering to a larger audience it is usually structured to meet a larger audience. For instance the internet would in some instances be targeting a world wide audience, this would affect how the course is structured where they would target a bigger market such as U.S.A and the course would be catered to that country thus possibly not making the course relevant enough for you to learn from.
Not only that but another important factor is that by learning through a college or university environment as opposed to learning programs through digital platforms is the interaction between teachers and students and the teaching techniques involved. Everyone learns differently, some are through theory some through practical means. A good teacher will be able to help the student be more efficient learners.
A big difference exists through the use of digital mediums for education purposes as a big part of our learning is not only learning the relevant coursework but also how these things are taught to you so you can effectively use this information. Also by having teachers it acts as a supervision mechanism to make sure and encourage students to study and perform acting as a mentor to their studies. I believe that distance learning programs can not replace learning through colleges and universities as not having teachers is a major loss let alone making sure coursework is relevant.
