Topic: psychologist have known for many years that colour can affect how people feel. For this reason, attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals.

How true is this statement?
How far does colour infunece peoples health and capacity for work

With the thriving of many controversial disciplines including psychology there seems to be some evidence linking colour with emotion. Some research has been carried out to underline some feature of colour regarding to workpace or residental dwellings. This new cutting-edge area is highly debatable and not much proof has been elucidated yet.

Many years ago, the application of the impact of colour on human have allegedly been shown to be practical. For instance, Ford, a car industry, observed that customer interest in colour was the precursor to their options. Black could manipulate wealthy gentleman or red was supposed to be the most eye-catching colour which motivate customer to purchase the product immediately. This has opened up a avenue for more enterprises to arouse people interest ,thus, generate profit.

Looking furthur, in terms of medication and health service, human emotion may correlate with colour. Dark finish can express a clear linear to depression. On the contrary, some bright ones might improve patient's health without any prescribtion or modern therapy. The uniform and all other equipments in hospital and clinic embodies this idea.

However the data of colour influence may not be convincing and powerful due to its uncertain evidence. The fact that some failure attempts are being made to repilcate the methodology of "tai-chi" fortify this conflict. Understanding of this may not be well establised in a proper method which is the result of misinterpret the knowledge or some unclear regulation.

The tentative conclusion can be drawn that some face may bear out the hypothesis of colour, but some scientist may encounter prejudice. However subliminal colour is, it would seem that the full potential of colour has not been exploited completely so the necessity of research and experiment about colour should be heightened.

How far does colour influence people health and capacity for work?

A psychology study has shown that how individuals feel can be influenced by colour in which surrounded them, such as in workplaces and health facilities. Because of this, a concern should be heightened to colour schemes when decorating those places. Even though these arguments could be debunked by an opposite notion, it seems that in a certain condition, these arguments are true and helpful to boost productivity amid employees and reduce stress level of patients.
