Writing task 2
Modern lifestyles mean that many parents have little time for their children. Many children suffer because they do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past. Do you agree or disagree?
It is often said that modern parents have no enough time to devote to their children. Mainly, they are busy with their work and building of their career. Moreover, they are engaged in their thoughts of being well-to-do and frequently they think about supplying their family. As a result, parents do not have free time for their children.
Whereas it might be true that in those families who have financial problems are not able to afford great expenses, but at the same time, children in these kinds of families are given more attention rather than in working ones. Because of the lack of the parents’ care, children can seriously suffer from it. Without having parents’ care, children try to seek for companies they can be involved in, however, those companies can be doubtful though and can easily damage child’s upbringing. Being in such groups, children may become criminals and they also can have some addictions to alcohol, drugs, cigarettes smoking and so forth. They can become rude, violent, aggressive and disobedient. Such kind of teenagers tends to commit suicide owing to their loneliness. It is generally believed that they also incline to have accidental sexual affairs.
Nevertheless, it was not a usual matter comparing with the past. Parents of previous generation were likely to be reserved, strict and disciplined. If we have a look to the past of those generations, we shall see that people of that time were more responsible and had a conservative attitude to the upbringing of their children. Consequently, people of that time did not have such problems like we do today. A good example of this is the child who was under parents’ control and was afraid of being punished. At that time, people treated their children carefully and paid more attention giving their care and tenderness.
Despite those facts mentioned above, they are not the matter for everybody. Each case is individual and it is not to say that people in the past were better than nowadays. Contemporary families also tend to express their care for their children combining all the things with their work.

Writing task 2
We know that many kinds of animals can feel pain and emotional suffering just as humans do. It is therefore necessary to support animal rights as well as human rights. Do you agree?
The world of animals is rich in its species. Animals are fairly similar to humans because they are able to feel the same pain and suffer emotionally as we do. Therefore, it is blasphemous to consider that they have no feelings and are not able to take compassion to the events they are faced with. For instance, they are capable of feeling the soul pain when they lose their congeners. From my experience, once I observed when the female dog had lost its puppies. It started howling expressing her grieve.
While it might be argued that human rights are more important, the truth of the matter is that animal rights are not less significant because animals are the main component of our nature and our life as well. We should also bear in mind that we must not only kill and eat them, but also protect and save dying out species. Consequently, we should take into consideration the fact that animal rights should be treated as well as human ones. A good example of this can be the volunteer team who supply homeless animals with shelters and take care of them in case they are ill, hungry or injured.
Overall, I think the most important thing is that people should have proper attitude to animals which are powerless and cannot care for themselves. In the conditions of wild nature, animals have to hunt for getting a prey and they also have to fight for their survival. In comparison to animals, people have much better position because they can go shopping and get ready food to eat.
To summarise, it is reasonable to say that we should not forget about care for animals and tend to think that both rights should be treated equally.
