Re: Writing Task 1 Academic
It seems that docx files are not allowed. Well, I will just post the report here.
This line graph illustrates the number of vehicles owns by household in British from the year 1955 to 2000 measured in percentage. The data is partitioned into 4 categories from zero to three vehicles.
The percentage of households that owns one vehicle declined dramatically from 60% to 35% in 1975 before reaching a plateau for the next 20 years. On the other hand, households with two vehicles started with 20% increased steadily to 29%, 38% and reached 39% in the year 1965, 1985 and 2000 respectively. The percentage of households without vehicles was stagnant for the first decade before experiencing a modest fall of 6% then followed by a calm decline from the year 1975 and hit a through at 10%. Households with 3 vehicles had an opposite trend than the previous data. It started at 1% with an increase of 5% in the year 1965 before ballooning to 19% in the next decade. It then remained stable for the rest of the period. In conclusion, the vehicle ownership appears to be growing in the UK.
