Longevity in recent era is nowadays one of the highlighted issues. This is due to the fact that demographic figures have changed tremendously in recent years. While there are numerous advantages of increased life expectancy, it has brought along various problems. This will be proven by analyzing both points of view prior to reaching an informed conclusion.
If positive attributes are to be evaluated, longevity tends to play a vital role in forming an intelligent society.In most parts of the world, England in particular, taking advice from the old people in business-related issues is common culture. This is due to the fact that these people have developed a perception of associating wisdom with the elderly. From another perception, long life can have several disadvantages. The most painful aspect is the generation gap. Old people are very likely to show a resistance with the modern attributes of life.
