TASK2

Post by DcalmdownD »

Many people around the world are moving towards using debit and credit cards (collectively referred to as an Electronic Funds Transfer system or EFT) instead of banknotes to pay for things. Carrying money electronically has more benefits than carrying money as banknotes. Do you agree or disagree?
Technology is changing our world. More and more people nowadays prefer to purchase goods by using debit and credit cards rather than cash. It is argued that carrying money in the form of electronic cards is more beneficial than banknotes. This argument can be proven by analyzing the two advantages of electronic cards.

Firstly, storing money in electronic format is more secure than having cash. For example, banks all over the world provide clients with cards that are safeguarded with passwords. While stolen cash can be used directly by thieves off the record, they cannot access the money saved in a card without the pin number. This makes it clear that electronic cards open up more reliable avenues for money storage, and offer people greater financial security.

In addition to this, debit and credit cards have a better influence on people’s health. This can be seen in the fact that cash carries with it a large quantity of germs, because cash passes through a lot of people’s hands. By contrast, electronic cards are usually customized, and this enables everybody to have their own card. This greatly reduces the chances of transmission of germs, so the idea that making purchases with electronic cards is positive for health is difficult to debunk.

Following the two points of view, it is obvious that using debit and credit cards when shopping is safer, both financially and biologically. Therefore, it is highly recommended that people use electronic cards instead of cash during transactions.
