How to begin Preparing for IELTS exam?

Post by rajesh »

Hi Ryan,
I'm very new to this forum, in fact this is my very first post, I have IELTS exam on 24th April 2014, and I was looking for online tutorials and method on how to score good band in each section of IELTS, I found you via youtube and then I came here.

Along with your site and many other tutorial sites I found that there is no one who has provided a structure way of how to start preparing for IELTS like in Day1, Day2 etc. I was looking for guidance on how to prepare for IELTS in such a way that I won't end up loosing time in preparing in random which may be very unproductive since I have very less time left for the exam.

Is it possible for you to come up with step by step IELTS preparation structure from beginning to get 9 band?

Thank you so much in anticipation and thank you so much for all the guidance & help that you are providing, its really very helpful and I'm very grateful to you.

Thank you,
Raj

Hi Raj,

A similar question was asked at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=756

The following links also detail study plans that you can follow for each section:

Hi Ryan,

This is a typical question for you.

In task 2 writing, on GR & A, band 7 says we should use variety of complex structures and band 8 says wide range of structures, I am not too sure what is the difference between them.

If yes, could you please give me some examples

I am using your task 2 e-book for my preparation.

thanks

Hello Raj, I am an experienced IELTS Skype teacher from England and normally I advise students to first of all analyse their level for each section and then take things from there.
