Given are four pie charts providing a comparison of the age percentage of population among Yemen and Italy in 2000, as well as the projections for 2050.
According to the pie chart of Yemen in 2000, the age from 0 to 14 years old is 50.1% which is the biggest group among the three ages of groups. Coming next is 15 to 59 years old at 46.3%. However, in 2050 the age from 15 to 59 is 57.3%, occupies more than half of the propotion. It is apparent that the group above 60 years old takes the smallest part in 2000 and 2050 at just 3.6% and 5.7% respectively.
By contract, in Italy the age from 15 to 59 years old takes the biggest part at 61.6% in 2000. Followed by the age above 60, making up 24.1%; and finally comes age from 0 to 14 years old at 14.3%. As can be seen, in 2050 the age from 15 to 59 maintain number one of the percentage at 46.2%, meanwhile, the age above 60 will increase to 42.3%. However, the 0 to 14 years group will decrease a mere 3% from 14.3% to 11.5% in 2050.
To sum up, the age from 15 to 59 years represent the biggest percentage among Yemen and Italy in 2000 and 2050. The age above 60 shows an increasing trend.
