PLEASE KINDLY ASSESS MY SPEAKING PART 2 - BEING FRIENDLY

Post by hollanda »

Please assess my speaking and advise me a possible score. Thank you!

Describe a time you were friendly to someone you didn’t like.
You should say:
when and where it happened
who he or she was
why you didn’t like this person
and explain why you were friendly to him or her on that occasion.

You gave a very good example and explained it very well. I would say a 6. In order to raise your score you would have to start using the correct endings for your past tense verbs.

Hello!
You were able to turn a bad situation into a good one. Good for you! It must have been difficult working with this guy at first.
Your speaking is great, overall. Your organization was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the clean conclusion/summary you provided at the end of your answer.
You are easy to understand for the most part, and your rate of speech is good. However, I would encourage you to work on the /th/sound when you speak. Also, I couldn’t understand you whan you said “the success in his previous ?” Maybe you said, “position”? Additionally, at times, you have some difficulty with proper syllable emphasis, such as when you said, ”Co op er A tive” instead of “Co OP er a tive.”
Your range of vocabulary is good as well. You didn’t have problems using higher-level vocabulary, like “cooperative” and “previous.” Likewise, you didn’t seem to have many grammar difficulties, and your ability to use verb tenses was good.
Here are some other notes:
--Good self-correction from present to past tense
--For the following days – for the rest of the time we worked together
Best wishes as you continue to practice!
