some people think the television is for education and information,
while others think it is for entertaining.
discuss and give examples from your own experience.



Television has become an integral part of our lives. Earlier it used to be restricted only with the entertainment but nowadays it has been used even for the information purpose. Television being one of the medium, accessibility to the information has become much faster and efficient. It helps not only with the current affairs to a particular area but also at the global level. People are using it as an effective medium of entertainment too. For e.g. a new invention takes place or new product being released in part at any part of the globe, one can watch the information live and expand their current affairs knowledge.
Even it is considered to be one of the effective modes of learning. Nowadays, there are few channels airs on TV which help children in understanding the new concepts and learn them. For e.g. there are various DTH services available in the market which screen through active learning programs which can be knowledgeable for the children and engage them in some productive activities. It’s not only limited to the information even the passion can also be explored. For e.g. If one has an interest in culinary then there are various channels which shows up how to prepare and learn new dishes.
Everything has its own pros and flakes .As per my opinion, the information which is being absorbed by an individual is more important. I consider it is not only a source of entertainment but also a source of information makes it to infotainment which can help individual to broaden up his/her knowledge at the global level.

The organisation of the essay is a little strange. In particular, the introduction is as long as the main paragraph. I also think that some examples of various TV programmes would be useful.
