Hi, my name is William. I'm about to take the IELTS exam, but first i was asked to take a placement test before i can attend the classes at the British Council. Can i know details about the test? Thank you.

Hi William,
The British Council placement tests is a very straightforward assessment of your language. If I remember correctly (and someone please correct me if newer versions of the test are in use), it starts with a multiple choice grammar test. You then provide a writing example. The assessment finishes with a 1-to-1 interview to assess your speaking and listening skills. It's a very straightforward placement test and nothing to get nervous about.
