Topic:-

Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In the recent years, there has been significant growth seen in the sports profession due to the significant rise in the competition and the number of events held. Popularity of sports has increased with lot of followers which is bringing fame to the sportsman. Even lots of companies are endorsing them as a brand ambassador for advertising their products which is adding up in their earnings. For instance, cricket players like MS Dhoni endorsing the various products and gaining publicity. Nowadays there are lot of players participates in the franchise games like Indian premier league for cricket which gives a platform for the youngsters to showcase their skills and earn good money too.

On the other side, there are other professions also where one can earn good money like being in IT sector or data scientist, or doctor. They spend years together to study and create a stature for themselves. Doctors should be highly paid as they deal with the human life and having a risker job too. For instance, recent survey in TOI dated 08th May mentioned that a person with 5 years of experience in the analytical(data scientist) role can earn upto 75 lakhs per annum and a fresher who pursued MBA can earn up to 30 lacs.

I believe sportsperson are usually earning more because their duration in the profession is very less comparatively to the other profession. However, with the increased level of competition not everyone gets an opportunity to play at an international level and gets the same visibility. Moreover, they represent the country and make their countrymen proud off.

To conclude, a person has to put lot of efforts to build his competency and skills to get those rewards. Regardless of whichever profession you have to sacrifice a lot and grab the right opportunity to succeed in your life.
