Am i required to know the spellings of the place names in Britain?

Just come across a british place name which i didnt know how to spell when i was doing my listening practice test.
I wonder if there will be more place names in Britain in the actual exam

Hello!

I think the only place name in Britain that you would be expected to know is London. Place names are always spelled out if they are not well known. In fact, you should expect one question to require you to do that.
