Not the best sample of T2. Need to know my weakness to make it the best one.

Post by Shokir »

The widespread use of the internet has brought many problems. What do you think are the main problems associated with the use of web? What solutions can you suggest?
I would not be mistaken, if I said that the internet is the most popular term throughout the world. However, this term is also associated with many problems of our modern community. In this essay I will highlight several of them and maintain them with some solutions.
The first and main problem, which has been caused by the internet, is dependence. It has thoroughly detained substantially more of today’s young men’s brain and soul that they do not lift their bowed heads from their devices. Moreover, many more casualties like road accidents with internet dependents and “selfy” victims began to appear more frequently in many newspapers. This issue could be tackled by encouraging internet users themselves to dominate over the internet rather being dominated by it. This should take off cuffs of the internet from their hands.
The second, not yet less important problem that the use of internet causes is degradation of the societal politeness. This can be obviously seen when people talk with each other. Compared to the conversation of people who have not been affected by the internet, those who have been are more likely to use abusive, insulting and broken language. Nonetheless, a solution is for the social leaders to organize “readers’ clubs” both in reality and on the internet to augment people’s outlook and vocabulary. This can also transfer negative impact of the internet into positive.
To conclude, internet users may witness many problems. These could be either vulnerability by the internet or not being sociable enough, but to deal with them one should acquire a great willpower and use internet when it is needed.

Hello!

To be honest, I'm getting a little fed up of this idea that so many young people are constantly looking at their electronic devices and never do anything else. It certainly doesn't match with what the same people (!?) tell me about young people constantly having to study!

Is it really true? For some individuals, perhaps, though unlikely, but certainly not for the majority of young people.

Selfies still cause fewer deaths than alcohol, driving, swimming, eating too much sugar, AIDS, cancer ... Need I continue?

Maybe we can improve people's communication skills, but where's the evidence that the internet is the cause? If social leaders organise book clubs, are you actually going to force people to participate? Sounds like Mao's china all over again!

There's some good vocab and grammar in this essay, but the ideas really don't add up to a coherent argument.

All the best,
David

I would not be mistaken if I said that the internet is the most popular term throughout the world. However, this term is also associated with many problems of our modern community. In this essay, I will highlight several of these problems and suggest possible solutions.

The first and main problem, which has been caused by the internet, is dependence. It has substantially affected many of today’s young men’s brains as they do not lift their bowed heads from their devices. Moreover, many more casualties of road accidents with internet dependents and “selfie” victims have begun to appear in many newspapers. This issue could be tackled by encouraging internet users to dominate over the internet rather being dominated by it.(<--I don't understand. You need to explain what you mean by 'dominate'.) This should reduce their dependence on the internet.

The second, but no less important, problem that the use of the internet causes is degradation of societal politeness. This can clearly be seen when people talk with each other. Compared to the conversations of people who have not been affected by the internet, those who have been are more likely to use abusive, insulting and broken language. Nonetheless, a solution is for the social leaders to organize “readers’ clubs”, both in reality and on the internet, to augment people’s outlook and vocabulary. This can also transfer negative impacts of the internet into positive.

To conclude, internet users may experience many problems. These could include vulnerability to the internet or not being sociable enough, but to deal with them one should acquire a great willpower and use the internet only when it is needed.
