The Internet has provided great benefits, but at the same time, it has also created new problems and inequalities. it possible to control some of these problems?
Today, the Internet is the most important and tremendously the most popular technology in the world. However, similar to any revolutionary technologies, the Internet has its own side effects in the society. On one hand, some people believe that it is possible to overcome the Internet problems, while others think the opposite. These viewpoints will be discussed in this order.
It is believed by some people that it is possible to limit the consequences of the Internet problems. For instance, social media is one of the Internet products which strongly hinder and negatively affects employees’ productivity. Therefore, an optimal solution for this issue is to introduce a new work environment regulation which limits the time employees spend on social media. As a result, regulations can help to eliminate some of the problems which Internet causes. Thus, it is clear why some people believe in the possibility to control Internet’s negative effects.
On the other hand, some other people argue that the Internet opens avenues for inequalities among societies. An idea that supports this is that most intellectual content will be digitalised or computerized that can be only accessed through the Internet. Thus, people who live in rural areas or cannot afford Internet access expenses will struggle to benefit from these contents namely business books, medical research articles, or science magazines which could help them to elevate themselves from poverty. The Internet, therefore, to many people acts as a precursor to less informed individuals. Thus, it is obvious why many people support this claim.
In conclusion, as the Internet has provided many solutions it also gave us new problems. Some believe that it is possible to control these problems while others refute. After analyzing these two points of view, however, it is clear that the internet problems can effectively be controlled and is expected to be realized soon.

Re: Internet and inequalities Task 2 7+
Hello!
Generally, this is an average essay. My one main criticism is that you fail to point out how regulation will solve the problems. For instance, regulations against identity theft have certainly not stopped that activity. similarly, you offer no suggestions on how to reduce the problems mentioned in the second main paragraph. Unfortunately for you, that is the main point that you need to examine, according to the question.
All the best,
David
