4th March 2017 IELTS General Reading and Listening Answers
Re: 4th March 2017 IELTS General Reading and Listening Answers
I am a bit worried because I had a sequence of 3 Falses in a row, if not 4.
Re: 4th March 2017 IELTS General Reading and Listening Answers
After the first 3 answers, I had a sequence of falses like u too. I worried too when I noticed it in the exam. I was like will ielts really have a series of questions with the same consecutive answer? But i feel better knowing a couple of us had the same answers.

First was NG, then False, then True, then False, False, False, NG, True, False..just an assumption..the questions were very simpleomesanni wrote:I think my first 3 answers went NOT GIVEN, FALSE, TRUE.
Another question I remember was about the middle tour(which had 1,3 & 5 day tickets) which stated that people can travel at any time. I wrote FALSE for this because, in the description of the tour, it says travel times are off-peak times and ticket holders should check carefully before using.

That Question with offpeak hours might confuse people with Not Given option- but it was clearly mentioned that travel time was restricted. So I wrote false.

I am crossing my fingers that I get at least band 8 in the listening category because that's what i did for express entry to really get a high score. For the listening category, I am confident I got all the answers from 1-10 and from 30-40. The questions in between I found a little bit harder.
I want to find out if anybody can clear my doubts on some of the questions. In section 2 - question 19, what was the answer? I believe the sentence ended in something like ______wood rods. I was confused whether to select the hazel or iron option. Eventually, i settled on the hazel option.
Also, there was a question in section 2 about something to do with evening meal. The options were:
A. they were too tired to eat
B. they ate mainly berries and fruit
C. they discussed with they had done
I chose B but I am not sure about this choice either.
In section 3, there was a question where we were asked to select 2 weaknesses of the university's emission service. I selected it makes no noise and power supply wasn't enough. Not sure about these choices too.
So please if anyone can help me with the answers I will appreciate it.

In the General reading, I believe it was question 37 - what did u guys answer for the question that had to do with how would we characterize story of those two researchers going on a voyage to Antarctica. I can't remember the options but I chose option A. One option i think was that they proved their theory.
Is option A wrong?

I'm sorry, I did not read your question fully.omesanni wrote:In the General reading, I believe it was question 37 - what did u guys answer for the question that had to do with how would we characterize story of those two researchers going on a voyage to Antarctica. They never proved their theory, they were successful in taking the specimen from Antarctica.

It's too difficult to remember Answers can we see the entire test questions with answers somewhat as this test has already taken is correct answer are available on some site?
Re: 4th March 2017 IELTS General Reading and Listening Answers
I wish this was the case. I have tried googling "making ice age roundhouse" with no luck..Palakielts wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2017 11:03 am It's too difficult to remember Answers can we see the entire test questions with answers somewhat as this test has already taken is correct answer are available on some site?

Honestly speaking, I don't think there is much use of discussing the answers. Of course we'll get an idea, but no one knows the correct answers to a few difficult questions, so you will find distinct answers.Palakielts wrote:It's too difficult to remember Answers can we see the entire test questions with answers somewhat as this test has already taken is correct answer are available on some site?
So, lets wait till 17th..and let's be prepared for the next IELTS.
