Task 2 for review, my first post here

Post by irgmn »

It is necessary for parents to attend parent training courses to bring their children up. Do you agree or disagree?

It is true that raising children is one of the most important, demanding and challenging tasks in our lives.
While being such a crucial undertaking, there prerequisites for it are next to non-existent.
None of the previous experience can adequately prepare a young couple for the long journey that starts with the birth of their first offspring. Special training that can provide new parent with guidelines, tips and ideas might be highly advisable. It might assist in coping with unexpected situations and provide invaluable set of tools and techniques by populating knowledge of experienced parents.

Firstly, child's upbringing is bound to come with a wide range of unexpected circumstances. For example, any sign of fever during first two months of baby's
life require immediate medical attention. Untreated in a timely manner, it might cause an irreversible brain damage and even death.
This type of information is not a common knowledge and, without the awareness of fever impact on a newborn, slightly raised temperature might be easily overlooked by
the parents. However, equipped with the life-saving information and courses of action through the parenting course,
parents would not miss the fever signs and would be capable to react immediately and appropriately.
Thus, attending parenting course might save child's life.

Secondly, raising a child with special needs require high level of special knowledge and support network, as well as acquaintance with
the services that can help in ensuring the best quality of life that is achievable under circumstances.
This set of useful resources, tools and tips has been acquired already by parents who underwent similar experience.
They would be happy to share their insights and assist fresh parent in their challenging journey. Receiving first hand information through specialized courses
from people who are in the same situation will provide both mental support and valuable information.

To summarize, an introduction of variety of parenting courses would provide undeniable benefits to parents, children and society as a whole.
Parents will become more knowledgeable, confident and capable; children's needs will be better attended
and society will benefit from the new generation that will be raised by more educated parents.
