Re: Friends
Wow, Muxtar. This was probably the best practice I’ve heard from you yet.
Your vocabulary and pronunciation seemed so much clearer to me than in the past. I also liked how you organized your speech, first doing a question, then answering it. It made so much more sense, and it was easier for me to follow. I think that more closely approximates what it will be like for you in the first session of the interview. The second session, however, will require you to answer all of the questions after reading your task card. So make sure you use transitions to move from one topic to another.
Some notes:
To attend their workplace – to go to their work places. To attend is like to attend university, to be enrolled in school somewhere, or to attend a concert.
To catch the fish – to go fishing or to catch fish. There is no need for “the” here because fish is not a specific noun here.
Our stuff was out of date – What stuff? Are you talking about your fishing gear and bait? If so, be specific.
Nice analogy with ship and friendship. That was awesome!
I also heard you self-correct when you said “all of my friends.” You were about to say “is,” but you changed it quickly to “are.” Good job!

Re: Friends
your help is very useful.what score you would give to this record?
Re: Friends
I am not am IELTS examiner, but you can look at the public speaking rubric they publish to gauge your own proficiency.
Re: Friends
speaking rubric? what do you mean?
Re: Friends
Hi Muxtar,
User lmoore is referring to the public version of the speaking band descriptors chart. This version is similar to that used by examiners when assessing your speaking. You can download a copy here: https://www.ielts.org/PDF/UOBDs_SpeakingFinal.pdf
