The given pie charts give information about four accommodation types preferred
by people traveling to the small city of Eisengrim, including staying with
relatives, camping, hotel and apartment, in three different years 1988, 1998 and
2008.
Overall, it is clear that staying with relatives is the most popular choice in all
three years in question, whereas camping accommodation accounted for the
lowest proportions in the two latter years.
In 1988, about 44% of holidaymakers in the city stayed with their relatives,
which remained the same in 1998 and slightly decreased to 42% after ten years.
Apartment type experienced a similar downward trend, from 24% in 1988 to
17% in 2008.
The proportion comprised by camping accommodation also fell by 6% in 1998
before having a slight growth to 13% in 2008. By contrast, it can be observed in
the graphs that more and more people liked to stay in hotels, as its percentage
increased significantly to double it (28%), compared to 14% in the year 1988.
