Dear Jenny,
How are you doing? I hope you are well. I am writing to ask for your assistance.
I am staying at Mary Hospital as I had a car wreck two days ago. It is nothing serious just broken leg. Although I am fine now, my leg has to hang on the sling, and I cannot leave my bed. To tell you the truth, I am already sick to the death of daytime TV. A hospital can be such a boring place; especially I only can lie on the bed.
I wonder if it is possible for you could send me some magazines and books to me. I would also be grateful, if you could provide me some article for daily use such as toothbrush, sleepers and jacket. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated and it would really cheer me up.

I am staying ( staying would be wrong choice, try ": hospitalized")at Mary Hospital as I had a car wreck wreck is inappropriate, use "accident", don't think for sophisticated vocabulary when you have goods words to use for this situation two days ago. Fortunately, nothing serious just broken leg ( broken leg is something serious, may be you say " a minor fracture on my right leg. . ( broken leg, you are not specific about which leg. Although ( incorrect coordinating conjunction)I am fine now, my leg has to hang on the sling, and I cannot leave my bed. To tell you the truth, I am already sick to the death of daytime TV ( not sure what this sentence means). A hospital can be such a boring place; especially I only can lie on the bed.
