We are facing too many noise problems these days. What are the main causes of this situation? What can be done about it?
Noise pollution has become a major issue in today's society. There are several causes for this, for instance the noise from traffic and construction site. Because of these problems, it can have detrimental effects on human being. This essay will discuss the aforementioned causes and the disadvantages and what can be done about it.
First and foremost, the significant increase in the amount of vehicles has huge effect on noise problem. Take for example the sound of engine, horn, wheels and so on and so forth. For this reason, people are encourage to travel by public transport such as train or bus in order to minimise the problem.
Secondly, the noise from construction site is extremely disturbing especially to residents living surrounding the particular site. However, this can be resolved by scheduling the time when the construction worker are allowed to work. The time is to be set according to the most convenient time for the residents. The appropriate time when workers are not permitted to work is perhaps after 9pm on weekdays and all day on weekend.
Subsequently, noise pollution are able to damage people's health. Just to mention a few: hearing loss, increase in blood pressure which lead to stress and inability to sleep. These are, of course, not to be taken lightly. If one is forced to dwell in high noise pollution, certain measures should be taken, such as the usage of ear plug or home insulation for noise reduction. It would be excellent if government can take this matter seriously and aid in dealing the problem.
In conclusion, noise pollution is a serious problem and people should be aware of the danger. It hoped that in the future there will be advanced technology, capable of diminishing the problem.

weel, you haven't answered the question completely, though you have used some topic words related to noise but it doesn't give a clear message what the question asks.
here:
para 1 : intro- why noises, outline ( causes and solutions)
para 2 : give one main cause, example, explain
para 3: give one solution, example, explain
para 4: conclude with some predictions and recommendations
the above would demonstrate band 5.5 ( I am not an assessor)

Re: General Writing Task 2: Noise Pollution
Thank you Durai for the feedback. It is really useful. I have written another essay. Please tell me what you think about it. Thank you.
There is no doubt that noise problems are escalating these days. The main causes is the increasing amount of vehicles on the street. This essay will discuss the cause and possible solution to the problem.
It is apparent that more people are relying in private transportation for means of getting around. This is especially true in countries where public transportation is not convenient enough. For example, in Indonesia where people have to wait for an average 30 to 45 minutes for a bus or train. It is obvious that people are reluctant to waste their time waiting. In addition to this, the price of cars and motorcycles are decreasing. Thus, people are encouraged to own a vehicle rather than taking public transport. For this reasons, streets are tremendously congested with vehicles. Having examined the cause to noise problems, the following paragraph will discuss the way to solve the issue.
One of the most effective way to counter the problem is to provide a more efficient way of travelling. Government plays an important part here. More buses and trains should be purchased in a reasonable ratio to the number of passengers. To add to this, driver should be disciplined to drive according to the timetable so passengers do not have to spend a considerable amount of time waiting. Other than that, government can increase vehicles' tax price. Moreover, the introduction of travel fare for cars travelling into the CBD and increased parking fare can proved to be a success.
In conclusion, although noise problems are increasing rapidly, there are ways to decrease and maybe diminish the problem if certain measures are taken.
