Hi guys,
According to my experience in all my 3 attempts of IELTS test, the letter is the most unpredictable part and I always spend two much time on it: 25-28 minutes.
Do you have any advice on Ielts letters? I am really bad at making up stories.

Myself as well, spend around the same time for task 1, but we never realized that task 1 should be given less importance.
So we must practice ourselves to finish the letter within 15 minutes and no more than 18 minutes.
You know why,
If you get band 7 in task 1 and band 7 in task 2, you get overall band 7.
Even if you score band 6 in task 1 and band 7 in task 2, then overall you get band 7.
