Hi guys, let's start the thread with sharing some useful words for the IELTS test.

I'll start with this:

word of the day: dubious /ˈd(y)o͞obēəs/

- hesitating or doubting
- unsure or uncertain
- not to be relied upon; suspect

John was dubious on testimony of his neighbor pertaining to the crack in his windows.

IELTS/TOEFL Word of the day: indelible

- making marks that cannot be erased, removed
- that cannot be eliminated, forgotten, changed

For example:

How had every dish remained so indelible after all conversations and glances had faded?

- the act or an instance of transgressing
