Human beings do not need to eat meat in order to maintain good health because they can get all their food needs from meatless products and meatless substitutes. A vegetarian diet is as healthy as a diet containing meat. Argue for or against the opinion above.
Human beings need enough proteins and carbohydrates to survive and thrive in their daily life. Now-a-days people prefer to have delicious and balanced food with moderate eating. Even though proteins, nutrients and carbohydrates are available in both meat products and meatless products. In my opinion, being vegetarian is useful in many ways. We will discuss about two benefits such as being healthy and avoid of killing animals.
First, Meatless products such as leafy vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, beans, whole grains, soy products and more provide sufficient proteins, fibre and amino acids equivalent to meat food. These products have cool effect on the body and easily digestible because of low fat content and less saturated fat. Along with these, dairy products such as eggs, milk will add enough calories to our daily diet. Consuming of this type of food lowers the risk of health problem such as Obesity, Heart Attack, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol levels. According to American Dietetic Association the vegetarian diet is healthy and recommended for obtaining the nutrients for better health.
Secondly, killing animals for the food is of uncivilized phase. In ancient age, primary source of eating food was to kill animals and consume it. As time passes, eating habits have changed and people tend to eat more meatless products globally. Some type of animals became extinct because of hunting for food. Animals are not substitute for food they should be protected same as human being.
To conclude, consuming vegetarian food will be have a direct and positive effect on health and will contribute to nature by joining hands to save animals.
