Post by gkm90 »

Hi,

I would like a review and a score if possible.
My exam is scheduled to July 12th. :)

Topic:
As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an important element of individual wellbeing.
What factors contribute to job satisfaction?
How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers?

----------

Traditionally, adults spend a huge part of their lives working. For this reason, it is believed that job satisfaction is a necessary element of individual well-being. In addition, there are some factors that must be considered in order to achieve this goal, as well as, some expectations that should be avoided. This will be proven by taking into account two important factors and a unrealistic expectation.

Firstly, the most important factor to achieve the job satisfaction are, passion in what you are doing and motivation of your leaders. For example, many companies have internal programs that reallocate the employees to the correspondent area that they are interested, also, training programs are provided to the leaders, teaching them how motivate their teams. It is obvious when looking at this example that job satisfaction is highly concerned by many companies, since it increase the employee performance. Thus, it is clear that passion and motivation have a significant impact in this achievement.

However, some people have a wrongly expectation of this fulfilment. In some cases, they believe that pleasure at work comes with high income of money, which is not true. A fact that support this idea is volunteering workers, in other words, they are people who work without any kind of financial reward. Therefore, this example clearly refute the correlation of money and job satisfaction.

After analysing the facts, there is no doubt that passion and motivation are the precursor of a successful job career. In addition, the only reward you should look after while working is your happiness. Thus, it is predicted that money will be just a consequence of all your dedication.
