IELTS GT Writing Task 1
You stay at your friend’s house when you participated in the conference in Australia. You left a briefcase with important documents in his room. Write a letter to your friend. In the letter
1. Thank your friend for the stay
2. Describe the briefcase
3. Tell your friend what you want him to do.

Dear John,

I am writing this letter for thanking you about the hospitality you have shown towards me for my stay in Australia at your place for the conference that I had attended last week.Because of that with ease I had attended conference. I really enjoyed my stay in the Australia.

I would like inform you that I had forgotten my briefcase at your place in the room. It is a black color briefcase made of leather with two clips opening and it has brand name on it as "Beta" on backside of it, down below leftside. I am much concerned about it as it contains my academic and work experience documents. Please search for it in your room.

As I already mentioned, it has important documents so please parcel the package to me. I have given my address and contact number below. I hope the you would post the package as soon as possible.Just drop me a mail after posting. Thank you once again.
