Do hyphenated words count as 1 or 2?

Do hyphenated words count as 1 or 2?

Same as subject.

Say, the model answer was 'human activities' and I wrote 'human-related activities' (as-is from the listening test recording), will I be considered incorrect?

Hi vanadium,

In the writing section, hyphenated words are counted as one word. I imagine the rule crosses over to the listening section, too.
