A lot of people have been dependent on technology as it plays a big role in our daily lives.Do you agree that living in computer age has more advantages than disadvantages.
Describe the positive and negative impact on our lives and give opinion.

Advancement in technology is not new in the contemporary society. There are lots of cutting-edge, breakthrough innovation in the society that have gone a long way in making life easier for man. This have become a source of concern among people as they argue that the machine age can negative impact on man. This essay will discuss both the positives and negatives of this view and will later come up with a conclusion at the end.

There is no doubt that technology have made life easier for man ever since it came into existence. So many sectors of life have benefited from it. For example, in the area of Agriculture, mechanized farming now see loads of job which could have been done by two or three people in days or weeks can now be cleared in a just hours. Also, students can now enroll in distance learning and also gain lots of fact via the internet without having to be present in the classroom. With regard to medicine, new innovation in the field makes diagnosis quite lot easier for the physician and other workers of the health sector.

However, the critics of technology have cited various reasons why it can have some adverse effect to the society. Firstly, they are scared that employers might over time disregard the need to employ people as the machine in their factory can do most job. This can create unemployment in the society. Secondly, over dependence on technology may also make our youths lazy thereby discouraging them to be more brain tasking as they already have internet at their disposal to solve problems very quickly.Lastly the cost of acquiring technology might be so expensive and thus discourage some young entrepreneur from establishing their own business since the society tend to patronize company with better technology.

In conclusion looking at both sides of the argument, there should be a balance in the use of technology so as to prevent us from been over dependent on it. Technology should only be applied when it is necessary

Hello!

Overall, quite good but ...

1. you haven't really looked at the arguments in more than a passing way. You present assertions rather than developing arguments. For example, did technology make Bill Gates or Steve Jobs lazy?!

2. your conclusion is to apply tech where necessary, but you provide no guide as to when it is or is not needed.

Overall, some very good grammar and vocabulary, but it is not used to full effect, which is a pity.

All the best,
David

Firstly, they are scared that employers might, over time, disregard the need to employ people as the machines in their factories can do most jobs. This can create unemployment in the society. Secondly, over-dependence on technology may also make our youths lazy, thereby discouraging them to be more mentally active as they already have the internet at their disposal to solve problems very quickly. Lastly, the cost of acquiring technology might be too expensive and thus discourage some young entrepreneur from establishing their own business since the society tends to prefer the company with better technology.

In conclusion, looking at both sides of the argument, there should be a balance in the use of technology so as to prevent us from been over-dependent on it. Technology should only be applied when it is necessary.
