The breakthroughs that the Internet has made in different fields in our life is undeniable. It, admittedly, made most of our communications faster and easier than before with subsequent marked changes in the global economy. Nevertheless, people have different views regarding its benefits and drawbacks. They still wonder whether these evolutionary changes are a blessing or a curse on our world. Personally, I believe that cyber applications have more advantages than disadvantages.

Undeniably, the most eminent benefit of the Internet is in the field of communications. It is obvious that technology has made communications over the last few decades faster, cheaper and more convenient than before. For example, using smart phone applications like Skype and Facebook messenger has enabled people to contact their families from very remote areas and share happy moments with them via its camera and video. Moreover, the spead of Web-based mailing services is markedly higher than conventional post services. For example, before the era of emails, people had to wait for days or even weeks to send and receive replies to their mail, while emails are sent and received all over the globe in less than a few seconds. It is obvious that the Internet has connected the whole globe into one network.

E-commerce and online business is another advantage to the growing technological advances. It one of the positive consequences of fast and easy communication via the computer. Households, nowadaysare able to transfer money, purchase goods online and control bank accounts on their smart phone or laptop easily without the need for face to face personal interaction at banks or shops. On the other hand, most of the companies have their site on the Web in order to attract more customers using social media for advertising and gathering their clients' feedback easily.

To sum up, despite the obvious concerns of some people about the disadvantages of the rapidly growing online services, I totally believe that the Internet has revolutionized our lives in different aspects, especially in the communications and global economy fields.
