Hello,
Here is a picture from the graph that was given in Writing task 1:

The graph gives information about the consumption of some kinds of meat and fish in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
In 1979, chicken consumption was 3rd with a little under than 150 grams per week consumed. It swiftly gained momentum, and had been rising since then. In 1990, chicken overtook the first place from beef, and kept its position until 2004. It fluctuated through the years, but it had been generally going up. In contrast, Lamb consumption took the opposite direction. Since 1979 it had been falling down until 2004 when it was at around 60 grams per person per week consumed, which put it in the 3rd position.
Beef consumption took a similar route to Lamb, although it began very well with over 200 grams per week! It reached its peak in 1983, and from then on it shifted from rising to falling, but on the whole, it was going down, and in 2004 it had around 120 grams per person per week. Fish consumption, compared to the others, was surprisingly stable. It had a slight shift in consumption here and there, but it stayed around 50 grams per person per week for the whole period.
To sum up, chicken was the only one of the four which went up, while fish was the most stable of them all.
Thank you for reading my Writing Task 1.
Have a great day,
