Students from rural areas often find it difficult to access university education. Some people think that universities should make it easier for them to access higher education.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Nowadays more than ever, higher education has become an essential tool for everyone, making it particularly important to provide equal access to universities to all people, regardless of personal background and place of origin (rural or urban).

Unfortunately, it is well known that rural high school students struggle to get accepted at both public and private higher education institutions, leading to unequal opportunities, exclusion and poor competitiveness, affecting not only rural students but also the whole country's economy, given the complex global nature of economy in which if a particular memeber of the system fails the whole system gets affected.

From my opinion, it is essential that higher education institutions come up with programs aimed at providing equal opportunities to rural students, offering scholarships to highly achieving and outstanding rural scholars and making available a wide range of affordable funding options.

Besides, governments around the world ought to consider public education as a good and efficient way of warranting equal education opportunities, making it an essential part of their education policies.

In conclusion, through the strategic cooperation between universities and governmental policy makers, it will be possible to start working on reducing the disparity on higher education accessibility for rural students, helping to improve the economy at a local and national levels.

Hello!

Vocabulary and grammar are quite good, but the ideas in this essay are almost non-existent.

What do you mean by 'equal access'?

How is the economy affected?

Explain how the whole system is affected if one single person fails.

Why do students from rural areas find it harder to get to university?

What programmes?

Public education already is a policy in the vast majority of countries.

Paragraphs of a single sentence!?

All the best,
David
