Writing with academic tone when describing a Task 1 process

I was inspired by Dominic's article about wording a process diagram description in Task 1 (view it here: http://www.dcielts.com/wp-content/uploa ... bulary.pdf)
In this video, we look at combining our passive sentences with these structures:
Here is the final version of the process description seen in the video:
First, the dough is flattened with a rolling pin. Once sauce has been spread over the flattened dough, ingredients are added. The pizza is then put in the oven. After baking for one hour, the pizza is let to cool for around 10 minutes. Finally, the pizza is served.
