It is true that recent years have seen many solutions to deal with traffic problems in big cities. While some people are in the opinion of that authorities should invest in promoting the use of bicycles in urban area, I personally believe more money should be spent on public transport system.
On the one hand, there are clear benefits from using bicycles inside the city. First of all, the most noticeable advantage of using bicycle is that it produces no harmful emission, thus being more environment-friendly than other modes of transport. Secondly, cycling is also a form to work out so it can help to improve city dwellers fitness. Besides, bicycle is a good method to reduce traffic jams caused by cars because it takes less space in the road. Many bicycle supporters believe that using bicycle is a good trend which can be deployed in a large scale because of its inexpensive.
On the other hand, sometimes it is inconvenient to use bicycle. Bicycle is slow and take longer time to travel to one place, also it is less comfortable when someone needs to travel long distance of under harsh weather conditions like rain or snow. Public transports don’t have these issues, furthermore, they are more secure and also bring many advantages. Public transport modes are not only fast but also can carry a larger amount of passengers than private vehicles. Furthermore, people are safer on public transport thanks to security methods like CCTV or polices. For example in Melbourne, all trains and trams have plain uniform security personnels onboard. Lastly, people can spend time doing their own businesses on public transport because they don’t need to drive. To illustrate, people in my city always study or read books on trains or buses.
In conclusion, both bicycle and public transport are good methods to tackle the traffic issues inside the city. In my opinion, authorities should spend more money on public transport in order to adapt with fast-paced city life.

Hello!

This question is a little easy, but still good for preparation purposes. You have answered the question well, with good, clear points on each side. Vocabulary is good. Grammar is too, but you don't use a variety of structures. Try a tougher question next time - and remember to use a greater variety of structures!

All the best,
David

I liked it a lot! By the way, how did you learn writing such essays? I am trying to develop my writing skills too, and I need some help... I've found a very nice article on it on http://bid4papers.com/blog/hook-for-essay/ website, and I hope that it will be helpful for me. What are your tips?
