Some people say that education system is the crucial factor to development of a country.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement?
In this century, countries are trying to increase the development by focusing on key factors. Many feel that education is the only sector to focus on. However, I disagree with the statement, a part from education there are many important aspects which help a country to grow. The same are described below.
First of all, education is considered forth basic necessity in this competitive world. High educated people tend to be more aware of country’s critical issues such as political or economical and can contribute to resolve it by using their votes more wisely. Furthermore, if country is able to produce good quality scientists then the technology growth is inevitable. For example, India is producing high qualified scientists such as APJ Abdul Kalam, who are expert in their fields and with the help of them India is able to establish its own missile defense system. In addition to that, good qualification is necessary to get jobs nowadays. This further helps in reducing the poverty and hence crime as poorer tend to involve in crime to fulfill basic needs.
Despite the above argument, there are many other things which facilitate development. Firstly, government should turn their attention on infrastructure to boost the development. Since, no country can dream of it without infrastructure. Secondly, high class transportation is also required to keep the pace with expeditiously growing world which also helps business persons to move their goods easily and firstly from one place to another. For instance, Indian railways strive to increase the frequency of trains to enhance the economic growth. Last but not least, effective government policies for foreign and local business can also play a vital role in it.
To conclude, there are many sectors other than education which are significant for development. In my views, I personally believe that development is inevitable if government focuses on all these points.

Hello!
Please post essays in 'Post Your Writing' ... no problem this time though!
This is quite an easy question, but still good for preparation purposes.
Your essay is good. You have chosen good, simple, solid arguments. Everything is clear. Grammatical range and accuracy are good. There is some very good vocabulary and nice collocations - basic necessity, more aware, critical issues, establish, facilitate development, frequency of trains, effective government policies.
Well done!
David
