The pie charts give information about the amount of water used by three categories ( residential, industry and agriculture) in San Diego County, California and worldwide.
Overall, while the residential sector uses more water in San Diego and California, worldwide most water are used for agriculture. There is no much difference in the proportion of water used for industry category with a higher percentage for California.
San Diego uses about 60% of its water for the residential category compared to 39% for California and only 8% of worldwide water are used for the same category. On the other hand, about 70% of worldwide water goes to agriculture sector whereas California and San Diego county uses 28% and 17% respectively.
There are no huge differences in the amount of water used for industrial category. Industry sector uses the same amount of water in both San Diego and worldwide (23%). California water usage is higher in comparison with San Diego county and worldwide (33%).
