If factories move to rural areas, they could not find skilled workers in nearby small cities or labor have to commute long distance for work. This will lead to economic turn down. Secondly, it is easy for industry and businesses to manage infrastructure available in Urban areas so they can afford competitive prices of their products in international markets. For example, the overhead cost will definitely increase if businesses have to develop basic structure for their production. thus the benefits of having industrial zones in cities are certain.

However, industry and business is the symbol of economic growth of every nation and metropolitan cities need them to prosper in future. It is thus proven, that advantages of having factories in cities outweigh disadvantages.
