The illustrations depict the various stages in canning a fruit.
Fruit canning is a man-made linear process that starts with the fruit being hand-picked from a source and ends with the delivery of the final output. There are 14 different stages that includes preparing the ingredients prior to manufacturing and also involves handling of the finished product.
First of all, the fruits are picked by hand and then transported to a location, via a vehicle, to undergo washing. After that, the fruits are checked for quality and once passed, are placed in storage at below zero degrees. Subsequently, the fruits are weighed or graded before they are peeled, cored or sliced, ready to be canned.
Next, a certain amount of fruit is placed inside separate containers and are then sealed to undergo cooking or sterilizing. Once this is completed, the output is labeled and placed in storage prior to being placed in a truck, set for despatch.
