Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because
of technology.
In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make?
Has this become a positive or negative development?

Technology revolutionised the way people communicate with each other. This essay will first argue that it improved the communication in a personal relationship, and then discuss that it is a positive development.

It is evident that technology has changed the way people communicate. It has made interaction easier between the people because most of the communication are instant. Many people use social media and the internet application such as, Skype and WhatsApp to speak with the friends and family, who lives in the remote location. Whereas in the past it took several weeks even months to communicate. For example, as per a recent survey by Microsoft, almost 60% of the people who lives abroad uses a Skype to communicate with the loved one back home.

It is argued that the overall development is positive because the primary benefit of the technology improvement is that it makes communication between people easier otherwise we might lose the contact. For example, it is very straightforward that people get in touch with each other who moves out to different cities after the graduation from the university to work or higher studies. Additionally, technology helps the people to contact their loved one during the emergency quickly and instantly. The good example of this is Chennai floods; many people used social media to communicate their position and place, which helped many volunteer and rescue team to reach the spot.

To conclude, the new forms technological communication have in fact largely improved human interaction because of the social media and online applications which is a positive development.

There is very little difference between the two points in the two main paragraphs (the second just adds 'quickly and instantly'). The points are valid, of course, but they do not really discuss the types of relationships people make.

Vocabulary is not really used to create an effective argument. Grammatical range is limited and there are some basic errors, e.g. people who lives abroad.

Overall, an average essay that doesn't really answer the question.
