The line graph illustrates the occupancy rates in percent, in caravan parks and hotels from June, 2008 to September, 2009. Overall, it is immediately apparent that the percentages of occupancy rates were always higher in caravan parks than hotels throughout the period.

The proportion of occupancy in Caravan parks slightly fluctuated at around 55 percent. However, hotels saw a different trend. To begin, it stood at 40 percent in June, 2008, which was followed by a gradual growth over the following half a year to a peak at just under 50 percent. Next, there was a sudden plunge in June, 2009, to nearly 40 percent. Despite this drop, June, 2009 to September, 2010 witnessed a rapid rise over approximately 6 percent. In addition, the differences in both types of accommodation had never been more than 20 percent over these ten months; the actual mean difference was only about 10 percent.
