Don't Memorize Your Answer!
Many students memorize their answers to IELTS questions, but this doesn't let the examiner know your level of conversational ability. The examiner can tell right away when you've memorized your answers. You can try to remember bullet points and particular vocabulary words, but avoid memorizing entire lines of text in answer to common questions that you may never even get on the IELTS.
