Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to inform that I would like to put my part-time evening course on halt due to unforeseen changes to my employment. My name is Dominic Poon, a student from class B-113 which majoring in 3D animation at your school.
I recently got promoted to a senior animator in my company after my 3 years of employment in this establishment, and I have been given an opportunity to participate in an off-shore training which will be useful for knowledge expansion and further career advancement.
Due to the reason above, I will be away from Malaysia for six months from June till the end of the year; therefore I am not able to attend the classes. I would like to request for a temporary halt to my course when I am away, and be able to continue again once my training is over by the end of the year.
I am looking forward to your reply. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Dominic Poon.

The choice of where to live and to raise family has always been a hard decision to make. Some argued that there are more benefits to live in an apartment, while others opt for a landed house. Both advantages and disadvantages will be examined before a conclusion is made.
Admittedly, an apartment is cheaper and provides a wide variety of build-in facilities, for the comfort of the owners to enjoy. With a lower price point, consequently, it made affordable for public, hence apartment is widely in favour by people these days. In addition, facilities that bundled together under the premise helps to boost a fun and healthier living. For example, barbeque pit and event room are available to host an event or party; swimming pool and gym room that could be easily accessible to maintain a well balance living and, finally, a garden for a relax and calmer evening activities with family. With said benefits of an apartment, one shall not overlook the drawbacks as well, such as the tight regulations and insufficient of parking that commonly faced.
On the other hand, a house provide bigger built-up area and, in return, homeowner gains more freedom with the extra lands as compared to those living in an apartment. This is extremely useful for family with children as they will have more space to play in the private garden, plus, parents could do gardening along with their kids and lastly, acquire a bigger parking space. Furthermore, with a bigger house, it gives privacy for every members of the family, for instance, individual room for children to have sense of belongingness and independence at the same time. All these advantages comes with one major disadvantages of a higher costing, in contrast with owning an apartment, hence, many are forced to opt for a cheaper yet affordable option.
In conclusion, owning a house seems to be more beneficial as compared to an apartment although it cost more, however, it will definitely worth the extra investment in a longer run.
