Hello everyone,

My name is Amy who has just registered in this network I am planning to take an IELTS in July or August. 2 years ago, I took an IELTS and my overall band score was 5.5. However I am ashamed because all is here got more than 6.5 or 7 but also proud of you guys. I really hope that this group will help me. My target band is 7

5.5 is nothing to be ashamed of. If you have been studying since you last took the exam, there is a good chance your performance this summer will reveal an improvement. Remain focused over these next couple of weeks. There are several tremendous regulars here at the forums that can share exam experience and advice. Be sure to post a few writing and speaking samples to get some quick tips from native English users, too.
